I'm trying to jump on the internet sonic express by writing blogs for websites. At this point I'm just getting started, and had my first new blog published today about a Sonoma County Wine Tour at Ferrari-Carano Winery. I'm also going to be doing travel writing for UpTake.com. This is a totally new venue for me--a different style of writing and a new platform that's a steep learning curve. Wish me luck, and please follow my stories.

We just returned from a week in Yosemite. Lots of great hiking and biking, and ended with an outrageous meal at the Ahwahnee Hotel. What a resource we have with our National Park system.

Okay, so it's been awhile. Yeah, almost a year. I had a panic attack (not really) when I saw that most of my articles were not coming through because of a format change at two of my publishing sites. Well, the Eureka Reporter has come through, and while the pictures are gone, the text remains--so that's good enough. Unfortunately, the Skywest site seems to have "lost" my Eureka article.

So, I'll start again. Nice to be back!
